How Old Is Your Website?

Websites "age" just as conventional advertising, direct mail, and other promotions go out of date. Products and services may have been added or improved. The interests of your customers and prospects also change over time. Graphics become stale, or don’t match your company’s corporate image.

Fortunately, updating a website is often easier than you may think. It is certainly easier, and less expensive, than revising and reprinting a capability brochure or product catalog.

Many sites simply need a new "look". Maybe your company’s sales thrust is in a new direction, and the appearance of the site needs to tie in with that emphasis. Possibly your site doesn’t convey as strong an image as your competitor’s sites.

Many firms find that inquiries drop off as a site ages. It is harder to find by the search engines, and appears farther down the list than when it was first created.

Does your site load as fast as it should? Is it easy for visitors to find what they are looking for? Does the information provided answer the majority of questions prospects might have?

Now may be the time to upgrade, add functionality, and make your site more productive.
